In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Qatar's beach volleyball team, Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, secured their spot in the semifinals at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Qatari pair showcased their dominance by defeating the US duo of Bartin Miles and Benish Andrew in straight sets with scores of 21-14 and 21-16, making  their fifth consecutive victory in the intense competition.

 

The Qatari team is next set to clash with their Swedish counterparts, David Ahman and Jonathan Hellvig, in a highly anticipated showdown. This upcoming match holds special significance as Qatar had previously emerged victorious against the Swedish duo in the group stage with a score of 2-1.

 

Qatar's remarkable journey in the Olympic Games continues to captivate audiences, marking their third consecutive participation in the prestigious event.
