In a remarkable display of talent and determination, Arab athletes made their mark at the 2024 Paris Olympics, clinching a total of 17 medals.

Bahrain emerged as the top-performing Gulf-Arab country, capturing two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. Not far behind, Algeria showcased its sporting prowess with two gold and one bronze medal. Meanwhile, Egypt and Tunisia each secured three medals, further highlighting the region's athletic excellence.

Morocco claimed a noteworthy position by clinching one gold and one bronze medal, while Jordan secured a silver medal and Qatar settled for a bronze.

Despite Qatar's slightly reduced medal count compared to the previous Olympics, star athlete Mutaz Barshim's triumphant victory in the high jump cemented his status as a national hero. Barshim's achievement also solidified his place in Qatari Olympic history as the sole athlete to have won multiple medals at the prestigious event.
