Spain clinched their fourth European Championship victory, setting a new record, by defeating England with a 2-1 triumph in a thrilling second half during the Euro 2024 final held in Berlin.
One of the standout talents for Spain, Nico Williams, secured the lead early in the second half with a well-placed finish into the bottom corner from a precise pass by Lamine Yamal, another rising star of Spain.
England managed to level the score midway through the second half courtesy of a spectacular left-footed strike from Cole Palmer from beyond the box, igniting a moment of parity.
However, Spain surged ahead with less than five minutes left in regular time, as Mikel Oyarzabal neatly tapped in a perfectly delivered pass from Marc Cucurella, sealing a remarkable victory and concluding an exceptional tournament for La Roja.
This victory marks Spain's fourth Euro title, adding to their previous victories in 1964, 2008, and 2012.
