Two Qatari designers listed in Forbes Middle East's ‘Fashion Innovators’ 2024 list

Doha, Qatar: Qatari designers, Ghada Al Subaey and Wadha Al Hajri, have been named in Forbes Middle East’s first-ever list of "The Middle East’s Fashion Innovators."

This list recognizes 40 influential fashion designers from the region, applauding their impact on fashion world by integrating Arab heritage and culture into their distinctive designs.

The brand by Wadha Al Hajri, "WADHA," showcases a collection of clothing inspired by Islamic art and architecture, seen in detailed geometric hand embroideries and latticework. Since its inception in 2010, the brand has offered a variety of dresses, coats, and more, blending traditional and modern styles.

Ghada Al Subaey’s "1309 Studios," is a minimalist ready-to-wear brand. The clothing line includes abaya collections, various garments, kaftans, accessories, and unique prints.

Forbes acknowledging Ghada Al Subaey and Wadha Al Hajri highlights their notable influence in the fashion industry and motivates young women in Qatar and the wider Middle East to pursue their aspirations with commitment and creativity.
