Doha, Qatar: Qatar strongly condemns the killing of American-Turkish citizen Aysenur Ezgi Eygi by the Israeli occupation forces during her involvement in a peaceful protest against settlements in Beita, located south of Nablus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorizes this act as a part of a series of reprehensible actions by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian cause and human rights. Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, it cautions that the international community's silence in response to such heinous misconduct serves to embolden further atrocities.

The Ministry underlines that global expressions of solidarity will persist in advocating for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, which encompass the establishment of an independent, fully sovereign state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. 

Furthermore, it calls for holding accountable all individuals responsible for the crimes and violations committed against the Palestinian population.
