Ministry of Education and Higher Education reveals progress in digital transformation programme

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) revealed details about the advancements in its digital transformation programme. 


According to Dr. Mona Salem Al Fadhli, Director of the Information Systems Department at MoEHE, out of the 38 projects under the programme, 15 have already been completed.


Dr. Al Fadhli disclosed this information during the "Strategic Programs Exhibition" held alongside the launch of MoHE's new strategy. She highlighted key achievements such as the completion of projects like the Educational Facilities Licenses platform, the smart assistant service named "Talib," and the educational vouchers service designed for students with disabilities.


Looking ahead, Dr. Al Fadhli mentioned that 23 projects are currently in progress and are expected to be finalized by 2030. These projects include initiatives like the "my school my community" platform, the higher education data platform, the digital education infrastructure platform, and the data observatory.


Emphasizing the comprehensive nature of the digital transformation programme, Dr. Al Fadhli stated that it caters to various aspects of MoEHE's strategy, spanning pre-primary education, K-12 education, post-secondary education, continuing education, as well as essential educational system enablers such as training, quality assurance, and the data observatory.
