Two Malayali women swept off rocks and died in Sydney

Two Malayali women tragically lost their lives abroad after falling into the sea. Natives of Kannur and Kozhikode, the women drowned off the shores of Sydney, Australia.

The deceased individuals have been identified as Marwa Hashim, aged 35, and Nirshah Haris, aged 38.

Fortunately, Nirsha's sister, Roshna, survived the incident but sustained injuries. The tragic occurrence took place yesterday evening at 4:30 pm (local time) as the women were enjoying a vacation in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. They were swept off rocks by a sudden wave which led to their death.

Following a search operation aided by a helicopter, Marwa and Nirsha were found unconscious in the sea. Despite being promptly transported to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. On the other hand, Roshna managed to swim to safety.
