ICBF marks 40th Anniversary with 48th Specialized Free Medical Camp at Naseem Healthcare

Doha, Qatar: In a steadfast commitment to support community healthcare, Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) successfully organized its 48th Specialized Free Medical Camp for Workers, in association with Naseem Healthcare. The camp was held on July 26th at Naseem Health Care, C Ring Road branch, with an initiative aims to positively impact the health and well-being of our working-class brothers and sisters. The Medical camp was conducted as part of the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of ICBF formation.

 

Indian Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Sandeep Kumar inaugurated the camp, and commended ICBF and Naseem Healthcare for joining hands for a noble cause. He was also in full praise for ICBF for frequently conducting programs which benefits needy people of the community. He also took a round of the camp facilities and interacted with participating doctors, patients and volunteers.


The event commenced with a welcome speech by ICBF Secretary and Head of Medical camps Muhammed Kunhi, who spoke about the specialized facilities arranged in the camp. In his presidential address, ICBF General Secretary Varkey Boban highlighted the significance of such medical camps aiming at our working brothers and sisters. He also thanked Naseem Healthcare for their great support. Naseem Healthcare Operations General Manager Babu Shanavas expressed his happiness over the association with ICBF for such a noble cause. Indian Sports Centre President E.P. Abdurahiman, Indian Cultural Centre Secretary Abraham Joseph and Naseem Healthcare AGM Rishad P K also spoke on the occasion. Naseem Humans President Dr. Sumpat Sunder proposed vote of thanks.

Other notable presence includes former ICBF President P N Baburajan, ISC Secretary Pradeep Pillai, ICC Managing Committee members Sajeev Sathyaseelan, Gargi Vaidya, Nandini Abbagouni, Advisory Council Member Joppachen Thekkekkoot, and other community leaders from different associated organizations.

The camp provided specialized consultations in various fields including Cardiology, Urology, Dermatology, ENT, General Medicine, and Dental care. Additional services included Pharmacy, lab tests, primary blood tests and other procedures including ECG and TMT. Sessions on CPR training, anti-tobacco awareness, and heat stress awareness also were part of the Medical camp. Over 300 community members benefited from the camp.

Smooth conduct of the camp was ensured by ICBF Managing Committee members Shankar Goud, Neelambari Sushant, Advisory Council members T. Ramaselvam, Shashidhar Hebbal, Naseem Humans Secretary Iqbal Abdulla, Corporate Relations head Sandeep G Nair, Assistant Manager Nandini Sri Sathav, Quality incharge Shemi Hashim, ICBF staff and community volunteers.

ICBF's commitment to healthcare continues to make a significant difference in the lives of the community's working class.
