Doha: Pravasi Welfare Thrissur and Thrissur Youth Club successfully organized cultural extravaganza 'Eenam 2024' at ICC Ashoka Hall in Abu Hamour, providing a vibrant platform for expatriate talents and fostering cultural harmony. This notable event featured a variety of artistic programs, drawing attention and praise from the audience.

The highlight of the event was the spot dubbing performance by renowned mimicry artist Ismail Nandi, which left the audience in fits of laughter. Under the guidance of actor and director Latheef Guruvayur, the evening showcased a diverse array of performances, including oppana, margamkali, dance, qawwali, and drama. An orchestral concert featuring artists with various musical instruments also captivated the audience, evoking the spirit of Thrissur Pooram. Additionally, a melodrama of different songs and folk performances by Rajeesh and his team added to the event's appeal.

In a poignant moment, tributes were paid to recently deceased Keralites in Kuwait, two students in Qatar, and artist Vasanthan Ponnani's father.

Pravasi Welfare President, Chandra Mohan, delivered heartfelt greetings at the event, while the Managing Director of BARQ Group, the title sponsor, received a memento from Program Convenor, Shereen Mohamad.

Reflecting the rich cultural identity of Thrissur, 'Eenam 2024' was a remarkable celebration, notable for the enthusiastic participation of the diaspora community and the natives of Thrissur.
