Donald Trump was struck in the ear in what appears to be an assassination attempt by a gunman at a campaign rally on Saturday, 13 July 2024.
The chaotic and shocking incident is likely to raise concerns about stability leading up to the 2024 US presidential election.
The former president was quickly taken off stage with blood on his face after the incident in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The gunman and a bystander were killed, and two spectators were critically injured during the incident.
"I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear,” said Trump afterwards.
