New Delhi: A 19-year-old girl from west Delhi’s Nangloi was reportedly killed and buried by her boyfriend and two accomplices after she pressured him to marry her due to her advanced pregnancy. The teenager, known as Soni, was seven months pregnant and had been urging her boyfriend, Sanju, aka Saleem to marry her. However, Sanju was unwilling to commit to marriage and instead demanded that she abort the child, leading to frequent arguments between the couple.

Soni, an active social media user with over 6,000 followers, had shared many photos and videos with Sanju, indicating a close relationship. However, when family members inquired about her new friend, she would jokingly refer to him as a "ghost." According to police reports, on the day of the incident, Soni left her house to meet him, who then, along with two associates, allegedly took her to Rohtak in Haryana, where they reportedly killed and buried her.

The police have arrested Sanju and one of his accomplices, while a third individual involved in the crime is currently on the run. Efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining suspect. The case has sparked outrage in the community, with many calling for swift justice in light of the tragic circumstances surrounding Soni's death.
