A devastating bus accident claimed the lives of 36 individuals when the vehicle fell into a gorge near Marchula in Almora district, Uttarakhand on Monday morning.
According to police reports, over 45 passengers were on board at the time of the tragic incident.
The bus was en route from Garhwal to Kumaon when it veered off the road.
Emergency services, including teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), have arrived at the scene to assist with rescue and relief operations.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered an expedited response to the situation, emphasizing the need for swift action to aid those affected by the accident.
