On Saturday, two individuals identified as terrorists were killed by security forces during an operation in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. 

The confrontation arose as security personnel undertook a proactive anti-terrorist initiative in the region.

This incident followed a similar incident earlier in the day in the Khanyar area of Srinagar. According to reports from the news agency PTI, one of the individuals was identified as a foreign national, while the other was local. 

However, the specific affiliations of the terrorists to any particular group have not yet been determined, as noted by officials.
