TJSV Thrissur 3-0 United Ernakulam

TJSV Thrissur has marched into the final of the MediaOne-QIFF Super Cup 2024, presented by Western Union–City Exchange, with a commanding 3-0 win over United Ernakulam in the first semi-final held today.

The match opened with an own goal from Ernakulam, handing Thrissur an early lead. Sanjay, wearing jersey No. 19, doubled the score in the 25th minute with a clinical finish and sealed the victory with his second goal in the 60th minute, confirming his status as a key player in the tournament.

Ernakulam came alive in the second half, putting up a valiant fight, but they missed their best chance for a consolation goal in the 78th minute when a penalty shot went wide.

Ranoff of TJSV Thrissur was named Man of the Match for his exceptional contribution, anchoring the team's defensive line and ensuring a clean sheet.
