Doha, Qatar: KMCC Malappuram emerged victorious in the MediaOne-QIFF Super Cup 2024, presented by Western Union–City Exchange, defeating TJSV Thrissur with a commanding five-goal margin in a gripping final held at the Qatar Sports Club Stadium on Friday night.

The electrifying match kicked off with KMCC Malappuram seizing an early lead in the second minute. The team maintained dominance throughout, with Bujair’s goal in early minutes and Nasif netting critical goals in the 78th and 80th minutes. Amin and Shamnad sealed the victory with strikes during last minutes, cementing their team's supremacy.

The tournament, which began in October, featured teams representing various districts of Kerala. KMCC Malappuram advanced to the final after a fierce semi-final clash with KMCC Kozhikode, while TJSV Thrissur secured their spot by defeating United Ernakulam.

The grand closing ceremony witnessed dignitaries including Indian Ambassador to Qatar Vipul and Qatar World Cup Goodwill Ambassador Ghanim Al Muftah. The evening concluded with a vibrant musical performance by Shikha and Faisal Razi.
