Doha, Qatar: Mexico's Pachuca emerged victorious with a commanding 3-0 win over Brazil's Botafogo, securing the prestigious Derby of the Americas title at Stadium 974 on Wednesday.
The match saw Oussama Idrissi set the tone with a spectacular goal just five minutes into the second half, followed by Nelson Deossa who extended Pachuca's lead in the 66th minute. Salomon Rondon capped off the impressive performance with a third goal in the 80th minute, solidifying the team's dominance.
Despite creating numerous chances, Botafogo struggled to find the net, ultimately falling short in their execution.
