Doha, Qatar: Senior students of MES Indian School organized the second edition of TEDx on November 7, 2024, at the school’s Conference Hall. Centered on the theme "Comedy of Errors: Anatomy of a Mistake," the event showcased exemplary communication skills and public speaking, following the success of its inaugural edition last year. The five-member panel of speakers captivated the audience with real-life insights, making it a memorable experience. The event brought together emerging leaders and seasoned speakers, inspiring the students with lessons on leadership, social media responsibility, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking.
The chief guest, Mr. Ashraf Sharafudheen, Director of Academics, M.E.S Governing Board, inaugurated the event, which featured an esteemed lineup of speakers. Leadership Trainer Mr. Abdalla Hamdan discussed the importance of leadership skills, while Dr. Muhammed Aflahe Iqbal, a social media influencer, urged students to use social media responsibly. Master Abid Mobin Gharatkar, a high school entrepreneur, inspired the audience with his success story, and Miss Onaissa Rashid, Debate Club Secretary, highlighted the importance of debate and critical thinking. Master Faizan Irfan Ahmed, Head Scout, emphasized the values of scouting and community service. The inclusion of two student speakers, Master Faizan Irfan Ahmed and Miss Onaissa Rashid, marked a proud milestone for the school.

Hameeda Kadar, Principal of MES Indian School, praised the organizing committee
for their dedication in making the event a success. The chief guest honored the
speakers with plaques, while event sponsors received mementoes from the
Principal and Sr. Vice Principal Mr. Shihabudheen. Administrator Mr. Manmadhan
Mamabally lauded the students’ efforts in organizing the event over months,
solidifying TEDx at MES Indian School as a platform for learning and
inspiration.
