'Health for All'; Qatar launches National Health Strategy 2024-2030

Doha, Qatar: The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani officially unveiled the National Health Strategy 2024-2030 - 'Health for All' during a ceremony organized in Doha on 12 September 2024.


The launch event was attended by Minister of Public Health HE Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari and various other esteemed dignitaries.


The National Health Strategy 2024-2030 sets out to cultivate a health-oriented society bolstered by an integrated health system focused on clinical excellence. 


In his address at the event, Assistant Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Salih Ali Al Marri, emphasized that the strategy aims to build upon the achievements of the preceding National Health Strategy 2018-2022 while strategically adapting to tackle current and future health sector challenges, ensuring optimal health outcomes for the people of Qatar.


Dr. Al Marri outlined the three strategic dimensions of the National Health Strategy 2024-2030, which are aimed at addressing Qatar's existing health sector challenges encompassing population health, service delivery, and system efficiency. These three dimensions are centered on enhancing population health and well-being, fortifying health system efficiency and resilience, and elevating service delivery and patient experience standards.
