Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour announced today, September 15, 2024, the conclusion of the seasonal ban on outdoor work, allowing workers across the country to resume their duties in open spaces. The Ministry emphasised the importance of following health and safety standards to protect workers from potential hazards.

Each year, the Ministry enforces a ban on outdoor work during the hottest hours of the day, specifically from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., to mitigate the risks of heat stress. This initiative is part of the Ministerial Resolution No. 17 of 2021, which outlines essential precautions to safeguard workers during the intense summer months.
