Doha, Qatar: Qatar Airways has announced plans to move its global headquarters to Msheireb Downtown Doha in 2025, marking a significant milestone for the airline. The relocation, revealed during a signing ceremony attended by Vice Chairperson of Msheireb Properties Eng. Saad Al Muhannadi, will bring Qatar Airways employees to four interconnected state-of-the-art towers in the heart of Doha, just 10 meters from the Msheireb Metro Station.
Designed
with sustainability and innovation in mind, the new headquarters has earned
SmartScore certification for its cutting-edge energy-efficient systems and
smart infrastructure. The move aims to enhance operations through advanced
technologies and promote workplace wellness with digital amenities. Group CEO
Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer highlighted the relocation as a step forward in
creating a modern and collaborative work environment while aligning with Qatar
Airways' commitment to sustainability and employee development.
Msheireb
Downtown Doha, known as the world's first fully built smart and sustainable
city district, offers a vibrant hub for technology and community-oriented
development. The tallest of the four towers, Tower A, will rise 20 stories
high, providing panoramic views of Doha’s skyline. This relocation consolidates
Qatar Airways’ operations from multiple buildings in Old Airport, reflecting
the airline's vision for growth and excellence.
