On Sunday, August 18, the UAE's National Seismic Network of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported a 3.0 magnitude earthquake in the Sea of Oman.
The earthquake quake was centered near the coast of Dibba, causing residents to feel the tremors.
Despite this, the NCM confirmed that the earthquake had no impact in the UAE.
The earthquake occurred at 12:14 pm UAE time, as per the National Seismic Network of the National Centre of Meteorology.
