The Criminal Execution Prosecution in Kuwait carried out the death penalty for six convicts at the Kuwait Central Prison today morning at 7 am. The executed individuals included three Kuwaiti citizens, two Iranians, and one Pakistani. However, a Kuwaiti woman, who was convicted of killing her friend, was spared execution at the last moment after the victim's heirs accepted blood money and pardoned her.
Initially, seven individuals were slated for execution, all of whom had received death sentences from the court. Security sources revealed that the executions primarily targeted individuals convicted of murder, comprising six men and one woman.
The executions were conducted under the oversight of the Public Prosecution at the central prison, where the convicts were isolated from other inmates and underwent medical assessments.
