Air raid sirens blared in Israel's Tel Aviv after Lebanon's Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that it had bombed the Nirit area in the Tel Aviv suburbs with missiles. There were no immediate reports of casualties from the attack.

In response to the missile launches, operations at Ben Gurion International Airport have been suspended for both arriving and departing flights. This escalation follows Israel's intensive military campaign, during which it struck around 300 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon within a 24-hour period, aiming to undermine the group's financial capabilities.

The situation has drawn international attention, with the United States urging for a prompt resolution to the ongoing conflict. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to begin a tour of the Middle East on Tuesday, focusing on negotiating a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip amid a year of ongoing hostilities and addressing the rising tensions in the region.

In related developments, Lebanon's health ministry reported that Israeli airstrikes near the largest public hospital in Beirut resulted in four fatalities and 24 injuries on Monday evening.
