Doha, Qatar: The voting process on the draft constitutional amendments, officially ended at 7 pm, which saw significant participation from citizens aged 18 and older.
The referendum committee headquarters saw a substantial turnout to participate in the voting process from various segments of Qatari society, responding to the call from HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani urging all citizens to engage in the general referendum on the draft constitutional amendments.
The procedure of voting took place from 7 am to 7 pm, and immediately afterwards, the sorting and counting of votes commenced. The General Referendum Committee is set to announce the results within 24 hours following the end of the voting.
