Rumailah Hospital launches Spinal Decompression Clinic to treat chronic neck and back pain

Doha, Qatar: The Male Physiotherapy Department at Rumailah Hospital, part of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), has officially opened a new Spinal Decompression Clinic aimed at addressing chronic neck and back pain. Located within the hospital's Outpatient Department, the clinic boasts cutting-edge technologies and modern devices tailored to meet the physiotherapy needs of patients.

The inauguration of the clinic was led by Dr. Hanadi Al Hamad, Deputy Chief of the Department of Geriatrics and Long-Term Care at HMC, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Rumailah Hospital. In her remarks, Noora Al Madahka, Assistant Executive Director of Clinical Services and Rehabilitation at HMC, emphasized that the advanced technologies implemented in the clinic are intended to significantly improve recovery rates for patients suffering from chronic neck and lower back pain.

The spinal decompression technology employed in the clinic is a non-invasive treatment method that utilizes a mechanical stretching table to extend the spine. This innovative approach aims to alleviate pain in the neck, back, and legs by reducing pressure on the nerves and vertebrae. Additionally, it enhances blood circulation and oxygen flow to the spine, facilitating faster recovery for patients.
