Doha, Qatar: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has officially announced the relocation of its Pediatric Emergency Centre (PEC) from PHCC Al Daayen to Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital, starting on Sunday, September 8, 2024. 

Serving the local community in the north region of Qatar since 2011, the Al Daayen PEC has been instrumental in delivering vital pediatric emergency services. In the preceding year of 2023, the center attended to an impressive number of nearly 58,000 patients, underscoring the escalating demand for pediatric healthcare services in the vicinity. 

Responding to this burgeoning need and striving to elevate the quality of care dispensed, HMC opted to relocate the PEC to the newly established Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital.

This strategic relocation endeavors to leverage the advanced amenities and specialized medical proficiency accessible at Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital, with the ultimate goal of bolstering access to exceptional pediatric care. The transition is anticipated to streamline patient care procedures, ensuring a seamless experience while upholding the provision of premium medical services.
