Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that tomorrow, November 5, 2024, will be a holiday for all educational institutions in the State of Qatar, to enhance effective participation in the 2024 constitutional amendment referendum. 

"Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is a holiday for all public and private schools in the State of Qatar, including academic and administrative staff at schools,” the ministry said on social media. 

The decision is designed to facilitate the participation of citizens, particularly those who are 18 years or older, in the national referendum. 

However, it is important to note that the circular does not include universities and higher education institutions in Qatar.
