Doha, Qatar: As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, M.E.S Indian School successfully concluded the "Golden Tunes Musical Reality Show" with a grand finale on October 10th, 2024. The inter-school musical competition, organized in collaboration with Radio 98.6, was held at the school’s Conference Hall. The event commenced on September 19th, inaugurated by the school’s Governing Board.
Over five days, talented students from various schools competed in categories such as melody, fast songs, and semi-classical renditions. Renowned singers Ms. Aishwarya Vaidyanathan, Mr. Manikanda Das, and Mr. Arvind Kumar judged the performances, ensuring a fair and expert evaluation.
In the thrilling grand finale, Vaishnavi from Birla Public School emerged victorious, winning the coveted title and 8 grams of gold.
Pooja Santhosh from the same school secured the 1st Runner-Up position, while Shravya Woody from Doha Modern Indian School took 2nd Runner-Up. The top five finalists also received accolades, mementoes, and gifts from the school management.
Special
guests and dignitaries, including Mr. Riyas R K, winner of GCC Best Singer,
graced the occasion, with messages from renowned celebrities further elevating
the event. Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S Indian School, expressed her
delight, highlighting the show's role in uniting the school community and
enhancing the school’s legacy of cultural excellence.
