ISC India Cup Open Badminton Tournament to kick off in Doha with Prakash Padukone as chief guest for finals

Doha, Qatar: The much-anticipated second edition of the ISC India Cup Open Badminton Tournament is set to commence on October 8 at Beta Cambridge School, Mashaf. The event will proudly feature Indian badminton legend, Prakash Padukone, as the chief guest during the finals on October 12.


This year's tournament promises to be a grand event, with over 500 participants from various countries competing in more than thirty categories. Participants will vie for top honours in age divisions including Under-9, 11, 13, 15, and 17, across both singles and doubles formats for boys and girls. For senior competitors, categories include 35+, and 45+, as well as open singles, doubles, and mixed doubles other than A, B, C, D, and E categories.


The tournament will kick off at 6 pm on October 8. The finals and prize distribution ceremony is on October 12, where the winner of the open singles category will receive a cash prize of 5,000 Qatari Riyals.
