The Alhind Group, a travel services company based in Kerala, has received initial approval by the Civil Aviation Ministry to establish its own airline called Alhind Air.
Alhind Group is planning to commence airline operations by the year-end after obtaining the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
The new airline plans to begin operations with an initial fleet of three ATR-72 turboprop planes. The group intends to invest between ₹200 crore to ₹500 crore in expanding its fleet with more aircraft,
