A recent report by InterNations, titled "The Best (& Worst) Countries for Your Wallet in 2024," sheds light on the most and least economically viable places for expatriates to live. 

The survey, which gathered insights from expatriates around the world, conducted an online questionnaire across 53 destinations, delved into factors such as the general cost of living, satisfaction with financial situations, and the adequacy of disposable household income for a comfortable life. Participants rated these aspects on a scale of one to seven.

Six Asian countries secured spots in the top ten most affordable places for expatriates. Vietnam takes the lead for the third year in a row, with an impressive 86% of respondents rating the cost of living favourably.

Following Vietnam, the countries ranked from second to tenth are Colombia, Indonesia, Panama, Philippines, India, Mexico, Thailand, Brazil, and China.
