As per recent reports, the death toll in Gaza has now reached 40,878, including over 16,500 children, due to Israel's ongoing war. The United Nations rights office has stated that a majority of the casualties are women and children. The true number of fatalities may be even higher, as over 10,000 missing Palestinians are feared to be buried under the rubble.

Furthermore, The United Nations revealed that two-thirds of buildings in Gaza have been either damaged or destroyed as a result of Israel's relentless bombardment.

The latest data from various humanitarian organizations highlights the extensive destruction caused by the attacks, including the damaging of over half of Gaza's homes, 80% of commercial facilities, 85% of school buildings, 65% of road networks, and 65% of cropland. Additionally, the healthcare system in Gaza has been severely impacted, with only 17 out of 36 hospitals still partially functional.
