Doha, Qatar: Doha Port marked a milestone today by receiving the maiden voyage of the MSC Euribia, the largest cruise ship to visit this season. The massive vessel arrived with 4,576 passengers and 1,665 crew members, showcasing its grandeur and setting the tone for a vibrant cruise season, which will see 20 scheduled visits through April 2025.
Measuring an impressive 331 meters in length and 43 meters in width, the Maltese-flagged MSC Euribia is the 22nd ship in MSC Cruises' fleet. Boasting a capacity to accommodate up to 6,327 passengers, the ship stands out for its advanced marine technology and eco-friendly features, being the second in the fleet powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
This visit underscores Doha’s growing prominence as a cruise destination in the region, attracting some of the world’s most modern and sustainable vessels. With such grand arrivals, Qatar continues to strengthen its position as a key player in global maritime tourism.
