Atishi takes oath as Chief Minister of Delhi

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has officially taken oath as the new Chief Minister of Delhi. This follows the recent resignation of Arvind Kejriwal, who stepped down after securing bail in the Delhi liquor policy case.

Atishi, known for her dynamic political presence, makes history as the youngest leader to assume the chief ministerial role in the capital.

Prior to the oath-taking ceremony, Atishi convened with Kejriwal and other AAP leaders who are part of her cabinet, signaling a united front as they navigate this political shift.

Among her cabinet members is Mukesh Ahlawat, a first-time MLA representing Sultanpur Majra, who is expected to play a crucial role in the new administration. Other key figures in Atishi's cabinet include seasoned politicians Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Kailash Gahlot, and Saurabh Bharadwaj, all of whom were sworn in as ministers alongside her.
