Doha, Qatar: The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) was officially inaugurated yesterday during the 22nd edition of the Doha Forum, attracting a host of distinguished dignitaries. This significant initiative, a collaboration between the Ministry of Finance and the World Economic Forum, aims to bolster Qatar's national economy by developing innovative financial policies.
The C4IR is set to play a crucial role in enhancing smart services across various sectors, including logistics, financial services, and the industrial domain. Officials believe that the establishment of this centre marks a major milestone in Qatar's ongoing commitment to embracing advanced technologies and fostering sustainable economic growth.
During the
inauguration ceremony Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari stated,
"We gather here today to inaugurate Qatar Center for Fourth Industrial
Revolution. This landmark initiative is a testament to Qatar's unwavering
commitment to harnessing the transformative power of technology and innovation
to shape prosperous, inclusive and sustainable future. The fourth industrial
revolution is reshaping the way we live, work and interact. Technologies such
as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and advanced robotics are
not just disruptive industries but are redefining possibilities."
