Doha, Qatar: The celebrations for Qatar National Day 2024 was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Darb Al Saai headquarters in the Umm Salal area. The celebrations will continue until December 18.

The vibrant flag of Qatar was raised in the main square of Darb Al Saai, signaling the commencement of the country's heritage and cultural festivities aimed at enhancing national identity. The event drew a large crowd of citizens and residents eager to immerse themselves in the rich and distinctive atmosphere of Qatari culture.

The activities for Qatar's National Day 2024, celebrated annually on December 18, were officially inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, at Darb Al Saai in the Umm Salal area. The Ministry of Culture is organizing these celebrations, which will span from December 10 to 18.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of several Excellencies, including ministers, ambassadors, and officials, who engaged in a tour of various events at the venue. This year's festivities at Darb Al Saai feature an extensive lineup of cultural and heritage activities, showcasing Qatari traditions through numerous corners and open spaces designed to create a lively environment. In total, 15 main events will be held as part of a comprehensive schedule that includes 104 events, promising an enriching experience for all attendees.
