Doha, Qatar: The National Day celebrations at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) commenced on December 15, and will continue until December 18, 2024, along the picturesque Katara Corniche. The event features a vibrant array of activities designed to engage visitors of all ages, with participation from various institutions and entities.
Highlights of the celebrations include captivating musical performances, the traditional Qatari "Arda" dance, and a special showcase by the Qatari Armed Forces in collaboration with the Military Parade Center. Additionally, a street arts festival is set to showcase local artistic and musical talents.
Heritage activities, organized by The Qatari Society of Al Gannas (AGQS) and Al Galayel, will also be prominent, offering attendees a glimpse into Qatar's rich cultural heritage. Visitors can look forward to exciting falconry displays, saluki racing, and a range of cultural activities, including an exhibition celebrating Qatar's achievements. Local families will also participate by showcasing traditional products and dishes, adding to the festive atmosphere of this year's National Day events.
