Doha, Qatar: Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) has announced a significant milestone, revealing that the Doha Metro has recorded over 200 million rides since its launch in May 2019. This achievement underscores the growing public confidence in the metro system among both residents and visitors year-round.

The metro's rise as a reliable and efficient mode of transportation is evident, particularly as it plays a crucial role in facilitating daily commutes and accommodating the influx of travelers during major events and occasions in the country.

Remarkably, it took the metro approximately 3.5 years to reach its first 100 million passengers, but the second 100 million has been achieved in under two years, showcasing a remarkable increase in passenger trust and usage of the services.
