Doha, Qatar: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2024 has announced Qatar's readiness to host the final three matches of this esteemed club competition. Tournament organizers confirmed that tickets will go on sale starting Thursday, November 21, with Visa cardholders granted exclusive access to a pre-sale beginning on Thursday, November 14.
The FIFA Intercontinental Cup will feature club teams from around the globe competing for three titles from December 11 to 18. The matches include the FIFA Derby of the Americas on December 11, the FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2024 on December 14, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup on December 18.
Qatar’s Stadium 974 will host two of the matches, culminating in the highly anticipated final at the iconic Lusail Stadium, which will also commemorate the second anniversary of the historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final. Both venues will be fully accessible and will offer a variety of seating options for fans with disabilities.
Spectators will have the opportunity to purchase up to six tickets per person. An official resale platform will be introduced at a later date. Only tickets bought through the official FIFA ticketing platform will be honoured.
Participating teams include:
- Real Madrid CF, the current UEFA Champions League holder from Spain
- Al Ahly SC, the Egyptian side and CAF Champions League 2024 winners
- C.F. Pachuca, the Mexican winners of the CONCACAF Champions Cup 2024
- The yet-to-be-determined winner of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores 2024.
