Qatar will face Bahrain in the final of the 23rd Arab Volleyball Championship on Sunday in Manama, after defeating Tunisia 3-1 in the semi-finals. The match saw Qatar rally from a first-set loss to win with scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, and 25-21. Bahrain reached the final by sweeping Oman in straight sets.


Qatar’s path to the final included victories over Iraq (3-1) in the quarter-finals and wins in the group stage against Saudi Arabia (3-1), Jordan (3-0), and Kuwait (3-1). The tournament features eight teams, divided into two groups, with Qatar and Bahrain topping their respective groups.


Qatar Volleyball Association President, Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, praised the team's effort, highlighting their resilience in the semi-final and the hard work put in by the players and staff. He expressed confidence ahead of the final, acknowledging Bahrain’s strength but emphasizing Qatar’s readiness for the challenge.
