Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has forecasted thunder rain with strong winds for Friday and Saturday, 18 and 19 October. The weather will include low visibility and rough seas, as rainstorms move across the country.

On Friday, the day will start with misty conditions in the North, transitioning to partly cloudy skies with scattered thundery showers in some areas. Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 35KT during thunderstorms, with sea waves rising significantly from 3-5ft to 13ft.

Saturday’s forecast predicts hazy weather in the morning, followed by thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds could reach 45KT during storms, with sea levels rising from 2-4ft up to 9ft. Residents are advised to stay cautious of the changing weather conditions.
