Since 7 October 2013, Israel persistently conducted airstrikes on southern and central Gaza, resulting in a tragic death of at least 36,479 Palestinians, and injuring 82,777.

A distressing trend reported by the Education Ministry in Ramallah noted that a significant number of those killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and East Jerusalem were either students or young children attending nurseries.

Moreover, the ongoing conflict has severely disrupted educational access, affecting 620,000 students unable to attend school and 88,000 students deprived of higher education opportunities due to the hostilities in Gaza.
