A widespread technical outage caused significant disruptions across multiple sectors worldwide on Friday. Airports, banks, media outlets, and various companies experienced severe operational issues due to communication failures.

Several airports globally, including those in the United States, Spain, Turkey, Australia, and Germany, reported flight disruptions. The US Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that major airlines such as United, American, Delta, and Allegiant were all grounded.

Berlin Airport experienced flight cancellations and delays in passenger check-ins due to a technical malfunction. Germany's Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg Radio highlighted that the airport's main server and multiple emergency systems were down.

Turkish Airlines faced issues with booking systems, passenger check-ins, and ticket issuance due to the global technical problem. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe's busiest hubs, reported disruptions in flight operations because of internet service issues.

The outage also impacted global markets, notably in London and Singapore. The oil and gas trading sectors faced difficulties executing transactions due to internet disruptions.

International media outlets were not spared. British channel Sky News reported a halt in live broadcasts today due to the outage. This widespread disruption underlines the vulnerability of global systems to technical failures, impacting various critical services and sectors.
