During a gathering of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators held today, Kejriwal put forth the name of Atishi, who was unanimously elected as the new leader of the legislature party, positioning her to take over as the next Chief Minister of Delhi.

Atishi, currently serving as an MLA from Kalkaji, is an esteemed alumnus of Oxford University and has been instrumental in holding key portfolios within the Delhi government, including Education and Public Works.
