Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has warned of strong winds both inshore and offshore for Wednesday, December 18, 2024, as the nation prepares to celebrate its annual National Day. 

In its special weather report, the department indicated that temperatures will range from a minimum of 14°C to a maximum of 21°C. The weather is expected to be relatively cold during the day, with slight dust and some clouds, becoming notably colder by night.

Winds will be blowing from the southwesterly to northwesterly directions at speeds of 8 to 18 knots, potentially reaching up to 26 knots in certain areas. Visibility is forecasted to be between 4 and 10 kilometres. 

Additionally, sea conditions are expected to be rough, with wave heights ranging from 5 to 8 feet, and possibly rising to 10 feet at times.
