Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf), through its Department of Mosques, has officially inaugurated a new mosque in the Rasheeda area. 

This mosque, designated as M.S 661, is designed to accommodate up to 300 worshipers and sits on an expansive plot of land measuring 7,694 square meters.

The construction of the mosque is part of the ministry's strategic plan to enhance and modernize the number of mosques across the country. This initiative is crucial in response to the rapid urbanization and population growth being experienced, aligning with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The new mosque features a spacious prayer hall capable of hosting 300 worshipers, along with a generous washing area and several public parking lots, including spaces reserved for individuals with disabilities.
