Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), has initiated its annual seasonal influenza vaccination campaign. 

Starting tomorrow, October 1, flu vaccines for the 2024/25 winter season will be offered at no cost at over 80 health facilities and clinics throughout Qatar. This includes 31 Health Centres operated by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), as well as outpatient clinics at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and various semi-government and private hospitals and clinics.

Dr. Abdullatif Al Khal, Head of the Infectious Diseases Division at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), emphasized the importance of individuals taking proactive measures to safeguard themselves and their family members against the flu. He advised that these precautions should be implemented as early as possible this year, prior to the onset of winter.
