To enhance the voluntary return of Syrian refugees, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Monday the opening of an additional border crossing in southern Turkey.
Erdogan
revealed after a government meeting in Ankara, that the Yayladag crossing will
be operational to alleviate congestion at existing crossings. The initiative
aims to promote a safe, orderly, and voluntary return of Syrians to their
country.
