Doha, Qatar: Wellkins Medical Centre, a prominent multispecialty healthcare facility, has been recognized with the prestigious Best Digital Transformation SME Award at the Qatar Digital Business Awards (QDBA) 2024. The awards ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), took place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The award was presented by His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, to Dr. Sameer Moopan, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of Wellkins Medical Centre, alongside Director Khalil Mansoor Al Shahwani and Chief Operating Officer Nikhil Joseph.

The QDBA celebrates businesses that excel in leveraging digital technology to foster innovation, enhance operations, and deliver significant value to stakeholders. This year's theme underscored the importance of technology in advancing Qatar National Vision 2030 and promoting a knowledge-based economy.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Sameer Moopan expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, "We are honored to receive this prestigious award from MCIT. Dr. Moopan also highlighted Wellkins’ innovative initiatives, such as the Digital Health Locker and Clinical Information System. He noted, "The Digital Health Locker empowers patients to securely store, access, and share their medical records online, improving continuity of care and giving them better control over their health data."
