Qatar's Nasser Al Attiyah celebrated a remarkable achievement on Friday by clinching his seventh Rally of Morocco title, simultaneously securing his third consecutive World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) title.
This victory follows his earlier successes at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and Rally Raid Portugal, effectively compensating for his non-finish at this year's Dakar Rally.
In the final stage of the Morocco rally, Al Attiyah, alongside his co-driver Edouard Boulanger, finished in eighth place, behind stage winner Sebastien Loeb. However, this was sufficient for Al Attiyah to secure both the rally and the world title, marking another significant milestone in his illustrious career.
